Why Multi-Signer

One envelope, unlimited efficiency.

Up to 50 Signers

Add up to 50 signers per envelope. Assign roles like Signer, Approver, Viewer, or CC. Each signer gets only the fields relevant to their role.

Sequential or Parallel

Choose signing order. Sequential means Signer 2 cannot sign until Signer 1 completes. Parallel means all signers receive the document simultaneously.

Role-Based Fields

Drag and drop signature, initial, date, and text fields. Assign each field to a specific signer by role. Color-coded for clarity.

Real-Time Tracking

See who has signed, who is pending, and who has declined. Automatic email reminders on Day 1, 3, 7, and 14.

Audit Trail

Every signer action logged with timestamp, IP address, and device. SHA-256 hash-chained certificate of completion.

One Flat Price

$5 per envelope regardless of signer count. 50 signers costs the same as 2. No per-signer fees, no hidden charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many signers can I add to one envelope?
Up to 50 signers per envelope. Each signer receives their own email with a unique signing link. No app download required — signers sign in their browser.
What is the difference between sequential and parallel signing?
Sequential signing enforces an order — Signer 2 cannot sign until Signer 1 completes. Parallel signing sends the document to all signers at once. You can mix both in one envelope.
Does it cost more to add more signers?
No. ClosingIQ charges $5 per envelope regardless of how many signers you add. 50 signers costs the same as 2 signers.
Can signers sign on their phone?
Yes. ClosingIQ supports mobile signing on any device. Touch-to-sign, SMS delivery, and QR codes for in-person signing.
What happens if a signer declines?
You are notified immediately. You can reassign to a different signer, remove them, or void the entire envelope. No charge for declined envelopes.
Is multi-signer ESIGN Act compliant?
Yes. Every signature uses X.509 digital certificates from our Certificate Authority. SHA-256 hash-chained audit trail. Compliant with ESIGN Act, UETA, and eIDAS.
